States General of the Made in Italy in the World in Colli del Tronto- Marche
The 32nd World Convention of the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad, organized by Assocamerestero (Association of 84 Italian Chambers of Commerce (CCIE) in 61 countries, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Marche, arrived to it's end with a great success .
About 200 representatives of the CCIE met under one roof from Friday 16th to Tuesday 20th June in Colli del Tronto (Ascoli Piceno), having the objective of strengthening the links between the promotion system and the main institutional interlocutors, laying the foundations not only for new collaborations, but also for the development of international projects and initiatives.
Among the Chambers present at the Conference also the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (CCI-Egypt), represented by the President Comm. Alberto Borchiellini and by the Secretary General Kerollos Anwar.
A day full of opportunities for reflection and discussion that began with "The General States of Made in Italy in the world", a public session to discuss the internationalization policies of Italian companies and the prospects for Italian exports development. Oficial representatives of national and regional institutions participated in the inauguration conference to investigate and bring to the attention of the business world the initiatives that must be launched to support the territory and Italian businesses and make them more competitive.
Monday 19 June was particularly important as it was dedicated to One : One B2B meetings between the CCIE representatives and Marche companies. It was a successful day, with the organization of about 1,400 personalized meetings with 300 companies in the agri-food, fashion, mechanics, furniture, IT and tourism sectors.
A fruitful day also for the Secretary General of CCI-Egypt, Kerollos Anwar, who met several SMEs from the Marche region interested in entering the Egyptian market, explaining to them the potentialities, opportunities and the support offered by CCI-Egypt in this internationalization process.
At the center of the conference, therefore, there were the strategies to be implemented to encourage the internationalization of Italian SMEs and their support for Italian exports development.
About 47% of assistance requests from Marche companies encountered on 19 June were addressed to business matching and networking services, even remotely ; business scouting and specialized consultancy services are at the second place (23.8%), and orientation services for foreign markets (22.2%) at the third place.
